This policy explains what information is collected when you visit akashpriyadarshi.vercel.app (the “Site”), how it is used, and what choices you have. The Site is a personal portfolio operated by Akash Priyadarshi.
Server & infrastructure logs. Vercel (the hosting provider) automatically records standard HTTP request logs including IP address, browser user-agent, referring URL, timestamp, and the requested path. These logs are retained by Vercel according to their own data retention policy and are used solely for uptime monitoring and abuse prevention. The site owner does not have direct access to raw IP-level logs.
No analytics tracking. This Site does not use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Plausible, or any third-party analytics SDK. No tracking pixels, fingerprinting scripts, or session recording tools are loaded on any page.
No cookies set by this site. The only browser storage used is localStorage to persist your chosen colour theme across page loads. No cookies are written. No cross-site tracking occurs.
Contact form / email. If you email ydv.akash2006@gmail.com directly, that email is handled by Google’s Gmail service under Google’s privacy policy. No contact form data is stored by this Site.
Vercel. The Site is deployed on Vercel’s Edge Network. Vercel may log request metadata as described above. See Vercel’s Privacy Policy.
GitHub avatars & assets. Profile images are loaded from github.com. GitHub’s CDN may log request metadata. See GitHub’s Privacy Statement.
Google Fonts. Typography is loaded from Google Fonts at build time and served as part of the static bundle. No real-time requests to Google Fonts are made from your browser.
Infrastructure logs are used exclusively by Vercel for service operation and security. The site owner does not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties. There is no newsletter, mailing list, or marketing pipeline connected to this Site.
The Site itself stores no personal data. Vercel’s data retention for infrastructure logs follows their published policy. Theme preferences stored in your browser’s localStorage remain on your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
Because this Site collects no personal data directly, there is no personal data held by the site operator to access, rectify, or delete. For data held by Vercel or GitHub as infrastructure providers, please contact those services directly.
